Salesforce or open source?
digiSFA, digiDMS and digiField360.ai share the same functionality in both editions. The difference is the platform underneath — and who owns it.
Salesforce Edition
Built natively on Salesforce, with open-source mobile apps. All data, logic and reporting live in your Salesforce org; reps and technicians use open-source Android and iOS apps.
- digiSFA + digiDMS in one org — shared Account, Product, Pricebook and Scheme objects
- AI agents on Agentforce, coaching on Einstein LLM and prompt templates
- digiField360.ai built on Salesforce Field Service
- Distributor portal on Experience Cloud
- Salesforce security, sharing, reports and dashboards
Open Source Edition
Open-source web and mobile, pre-integrated with Salesforce. Same modules and AI on a modern open stack that you can host and extend yourself.
- Microservices on Node.js / NestJS with PostgreSQL and Redis
- AI agents on LangChain with OpenAI or self-hosted open models
- Docker / Kubernetes — self-host, any cloud, or AWS Mumbai
- React web portal for distributors
- REST APIs for any ERP, Tally or IoT system (MQTT)

Not sure which edition fits?
We already use Salesforce Sales or Service Cloud. Which edition?
Usually the Salesforce Edition — your field, distributor and service data join the customer record you already have. For very large field teams, we'll model the licence cost of both editions for you.
We don't use Salesforce. Can we still use digiFrontline?
Yes. The Open Source Edition runs independently and is pre-integrated with Salesforce, so you can connect a CRM later without rework.
Is open source secure enough for enterprise?
Yes. You control hosting, access and patching, and our team hardens and supports the deployment. Open code can also be audited by your security team.
Can we switch editions later?
Yes. Both editions have the same functional design and mobile apps, so moving is a planned data migration rather than a re-implementation.
